Simon Says... Anything Goes!

I am back today to play along in another challenge over at Simon Says Stamp. Time again for everybody's favourite theme, "Anything Goes".
There was one more image that I really wanted to use on a christmas card, so I figured before I pack away my christmas papers I would have one last go round with a christmas themed card for this challenge. (Sorry about the bad picture, the light wasnt good, you can barely see the gold embossed sentiment)

ATS Challenge... Anything Goes

Happy Chistmas Eve, it came so quickly this year.
I had to make 2 more last minute chrstmas cards for a few people that decided to come into town this year. So of course I had to enter it in to the ATS Anything Goes Challenge.
This card is really quite glitzy in real life, with the glitter glue on the wings, the glitter pen used on the horn & halo, and the gold ink around the dark brown mat... doesnt really come across in the picture though.

Ink: VersaFine, Colour Box

Back again for a Simon Says Blog Challenge.

Back after what seemed like the longest running cold in existence. And I am in time for the Anything Goes Challenge over at All That Scrap.
I love anything goes challenges, especially since I am, what I call, a budget card maker, I cant afford fancy dies and die cutter, so those more specialty challenges I can not partake in.

Here's my entry to the challenge:

New Simon Says Challenge

This weeks wednesday challenge over at Simon Says Stamp is an anything goes challenge. I decided to use a stamp that required a small amount of editing.
Originally this was a christamas image, with the little girl holding an ornament... never tried such a thing before, but I deleted the ornament and ribbon that she was holding and added a gift bag complete with tissue paper along with a matching party hat. It was lots of fun.

Here is what I came up with:

Ingredients:
Digi Stamp: CC Designs/All That Scraps
DP: Echo Park & DCWV
Sentiment Stamp: Penny Black
CS: CC Designs & Bazzill
Medium: Copic & Prisma Colour Markers
Other: Elmers Glitter Glue & Dollarama Gemstone

Simon Says Stamp Challenge... Kristina's inspiration

This week over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge, Kristina Werner posted a challenge photo of her cat Manny. We had to use the colours in the pic as the inspiration for the card.... thought, I thought it would also be cute to use a kitty image, so I pulled out a penny black set for the central card image:

ATS Challenge - Paper Piecing

Im not a huge fan of paper piecing, mainly because Im not so great with cutting things out, though I do enjoy the look when I see other peoples creation who have done it.
So when I saw this challenge's theme over at ATS I didn't think I was going to play along, and then suddenly today I decided to got for it.
While it may be a bit early for me to start christmas cards, I wanted to use an actual stamp (not a digi) and I have a limited collection, but this little snowman seemed to jump out at me.
here is what I came up with.

Ingredients;
Stamps: CC Designs
DP: Echo Park (seasons greetings)

I finally got a chance to play along with the Simon Says Stamp weekly blog challenge, this weeks them anything goes.
I felt like doing something fun and summery, and I realised that I bought the Echo Park "Splash" 6x6 when it was still wintery outside, so I never got a chance to use it.
So I grabbed those papers along with a super cute digi from the All That Scraps Store and this is qhat I came up with.

It feels like its been forever since I have made a card, and even long since I have posted one.... but here is a quick birthday card I threw together from a Stamp Fairy World image.

Case Card Post #1

I had to make a birthday card for my Grandfather's 90th birthday, that we are going to dinner for this upcoming saturday.
As much as I tried, I just wasn't feeling inspired to make a card. So I hopped on my computer, and visited a whole bunch of blogs in hopes of giving myself a start off point for the card I had to make. I saw alot of beautiful creations, and when I popped by Kim O'Connell blog, Page Perfect Designs, and saw this post I knew that I wanted to case the layout (of the second) for my Grandfathers Birthday card.
So thank you Kim O'Connell for the inspiration!

Stamp: The Paper Company
