A Week Of Christmas Cards - Day 5

Clearly, before I made my cards this year, I placed an order at All That Scraps. Sinces about 75% of the stuff that I used for my cards this year came from there.

On to Day 5... I love the designer paper from Echo Park that I used on this one, it is probably the reason I consider this card one of my 7 favourites, the different shades of blue with the darker red colour just work so well together.

You cant tell in the picture, but I used the red American Crafts glitter pen on her little scarf to make a plaid pattern... so cute!

Todays card I just love... I love this digi, I love the paper that I used, and on top of that it is the first time I have had a chance to use the metallic card stock that I picked up from All That Scraps a while ago.... again, I am just loving the sparkle.

A Week Of Christmas Cards - Day 3

My third card, is probably one of my favourites because of the monochromatic colour scheme and simplicity of the layout. Well, that and of course all the sparkles.... My feeling about christmas cards, they need sparkle!

A Week Of Christmas Cards - Day 2

The second card for my christmas week was the first card I got to try my american crafts glitter pens, the shimmer they give off is so pretty, I used the red pen to glitter up the berries on the digi as well as on the patterned paper. I just love this image, she was a ton of fun to colour.

A Week Of Christmas Cards - Day 1

So, I figured that for the week leading up to christmas I would (try) and post the 5 of my favourite christmas cards that I made this year.

The first one looks fabulous in real life, I took the time and put a dab of glitter glue on all of the bulbs on the designer paper I used.. Time consuming, but the sparkle it gives looks awsome. Also I used glossy accents on the image for the bulbs, nose and hooves.... adds some nice dimension.

ATS Anything Goes Challenge.

Well, I finally got a chance to finish one of the many cards I have to give out, I have about half of the cards I need about 60% done... really got to get crackin' on these.
I happened to use a C.C. Designs image on this card, then when I checked out the challenge blog, low and behold, its an anything goes challenge.
So I figure why not submit this card. (You can't tell from the picture, but that designer paper I used here has a golden sheen to it.... so pretty. As is all the sparkles on the little ornament she is holding!)
