ATS Challenge 90, sketch time

Phew.
I always find sketch challenges the hardest. I tend to have very plain and simple layouts, so when I play along with a sketch that has lots of layering or embellies etc. I find it quite difficult.

So when I saw this weeks ATS challenge was a sketch I almost didn't play along, but then I figured that they are called 'challenges' for a reason.
So, here is the sketch we had to work from:

Now, I know I didn't follow the sketch absolutly exact, but I feel that there should be some room for artistic leaway.
Here is what I came up with:

Ingredients

Digi Image: ATS/CC Designs

CS: Bazzill

DP: DCWV

Stamp: Penny Black

Glitter & Perals: Dollarama

Punch: Marvy

Medium: Prisma Colour Markers

ATS Inspiration challenge

Over at the ATS Wednesday challenge blog they had a photo up, and we had to make a card based on the inspiration we got from the photo.

The part of the pic that stood out to me the most were the sunflowers that were on the little side table... I really wanted to include that bright yellow in my card.
Also, I wanted to include sunflowers, but since I had nothing of the sort, I used a flower punch, 2 shades of card stock, and a little bit of flock to make my own.
Here is the card:

Ingredients:
Digi Image: CC Designs/ All that scraps
Stamp: The Paper Company
CS: Bazzill
DP: Me and My BIG Ideas
Flower Punch: Marvy
Medium: Prisma Colour Markers, Sakura Gelly Roll Pen
Ribbon: Michaels?

ATS Wednesday Challenge: Christmas in July

Just a quick post with a card I did for last wednesdays challenge over at All That Scraps. The theme was Christmas in July, and I have to admit I felt a little strange making a christmas card in the middle of the heat wave we've been having here in Ontario.
In the end though, I really enjoyed making this card, and I love the adorable 'Trim the Tree' digi from ATS (you can't really tell in the picture but the ornament has sparkley gold bits on it, looks great in real life.)
Ingredients:
Digi Image: All That Scraps/CC Designs
Stamp: MSE
EP: Stampendous
DP & Card Stock: American Crafts
Punch: EK Success
Medium: Prisma Colour Markers
Ribbon, Glitter & Pearls: Dollarama

Hiatus!

I have been on a bit of a hiatus since the end of April. A lot of work/life stuff popped up and I just didn't have time for blogging.

Now that things have calmed down, I will be back soon with new cards!

The Greeting Farm - FFF Digi!

I've finally got another chance to play along (just barely, only 1 1/2 hours left to upload my card) with the Greeting Farms *new* challenge blog and their farm fresh friday challenge.
This particular challenge was pretty much a free for all, the only stipulation is that you had to use one of there digital images.... which is soooo not a problem for me!
I love the little Anya charater that they have, and I especially adore this little cheer leader girl.
So... on with the card:
